Click on the name of a Livelihood Zone in either the search bar or on the Quick view card to access the Baseline Summary view.
This view contains all of the options and information from the Quick view card, plus a short description. It also contains four tabs that provide a large amount of data about the Livelihood Zone.
LEX rounds percentage values to a whole number. This approach is used to avoid the suggestion of false precision as the data is based on interviews with a sample of the population. Because of this approach, sometimes the sum of the rounded numbers will not add up exactly to 100% (e.g., resulting in 99% or 101%).
Additionally, the data shown in LEX are reconciled values. Data is collected across a number of communities. A committee reviews the data and choose a single summary number that represents an approximate median across all communities in the Livelihood Zone. These numbers are not direct calculations, but instead represent an expert opinion based on collected data.
Some reconciled data contains both a point value and an interval value. Point values are used for calculations and most visualizations. Tables show intervals where available.
Activities tab
The activities tab contains the Wealth Group breakdown, showing the percentage of households in each Wealth Group for the Baseline. It also includes a series of bar charts that show:

Food + Cash: Annual sources of food (kcal income) and cash income combined. This is the same chart that appears in the Quick view card and can be used to quickly compare two baselines in the map view. See the Survival and Livelihood Protection Thresholds page for more information on what those lines mean and how they are calculated.

Characteristics tab
This tab contains a table of Wealth Group Characteristics for the Baseline. See the Custom Taxonomies page for more information on Wealth Group Characteristics.
Calendar tab
This tab contains a Seasonal Calendar for the Livelihood Zone. The Seasonal Calendar illustrates the key food and income sources that are most important in a given Livelihood Zone and indicate the months these sources are available in a typical year. The calendars also show key seasonal periods such as the rains, periods of peak illness, and the hunger season.
In LEX, Seasonal Calendars contain two types of seasons:

Climatological seasons: Seasons determined on a meteorological level such as wet, dry, gu, and deyr.

Seasonal livelihood activities: Seasons that correspond to livelihood activities such as planting, harvesting, milking, births, migration, or staple food prices peak.
Key parameters tab
This tab lists key parameters for the Livelihood Zone and some associated statistics such as production levels and prices.
A key parameter is a main food or income source in a Livelihood Zone, providing over 5% of 2,100 kcal/person/day for at least two Wealth Groups or over 10% for one Wealth Group, or serving as a major source of food or income in the lean season.
